Meet the Team Behind Nan’s Kitchen

Jordan Mackey

Founder, Owner, and Head Chef

Jordan is the founder, owner, and head chef behind Nan’s Kitchen. What started as an idea to create a fried chicken shack in Massachusetts has grown into multiple locations serving delicious fried chicken and vegetable bowls. Jordan’s passion and love for food are at the heart of everything we do, from the dishes we serve to the service we provide.

Jordan has been cooking since he was a teenager and attended multiple culinary schools, where he earned numerous awards and developed his craft. He went on to lead culinary and dining programs at large hotels across the country. But it’s Jordan’s storytelling, expressed through his approach to food, cuisine, and all the details that surround the plate, that has helped make Nan’s a fan favorite in the communities we serve.

Jordan’s favorite Nan’s dish is the sweet potatoes, and anyone who has tried them can understand why! You can find his influence throughout every Nan’s location and on the menu, but he still loves getting behind the line to cook and train the team. That love for food never goes away.
